> Shorekey provides direct-booking vacation rental software for Ocean City, West Ocean City, and Ocean Pines, Maryland, with a $0 Shorekey guest booking fee. Availability depends on published property inventory.

## Why Travelers Book Direct on Shorekey
- **$0 Shorekey Guest Booking Fee:** Review the stay price, cleaning fee, configured lodging taxes, and booking terms before requesting a stay. Percentage fee comparisons are illustrative assumptions, not actual competing quotes or guaranteed savings.
- **Transparent Free-Cancellation & Deposit Terms:** Clear free-cancellation cutoffs and reserve-now, pay-later deposit splits shown before checkout.
- **Local Venue Offers:** Published, approved venues set offer terms and verify redemptions through authorized staff. Demo offers provide no redeemable benefit and are excluded from the list below.
- **Chief BlueClaw Flex Arrival Requests:** Early check-in and late check-out requests consider occupancy, calendar freshness, and service work; manager confirmation and turnover readiness are required.
- **Co-Traveler Cost Sharing & Arrival Pass:** Share per-person and per-couple cost estimates, with arrival details available during the authorized stay window after payment and agreement requirements are met.

## Why Ocean City Property Owners Use Shorekey
- **Owner Fees:** 3.0% Shorekey booking fee (0% on Founding Partner own listings) + ~3.0% Stripe card processing (or 0.8% capped at $5 on ACH bank-transfer balances where owners keep 100% of the processing savings) + $250/year per-listing marketing & VIP pass package. Fee calculator scenarios use assumed percentages; actual rates, fees, and terms vary.
- **Shared Inquiry-to-Offer Desk & Partner Attribution:** Any partner share follows the attribution and fee terms recorded on the booking. A booking without recorded partner attribution does not generate a partner share; accrued shares are not proof of a completed payout.
- **15-Minute Two-Way iCal Sync:** Combines imported calendar occupancy with Shorekey reservations and exports booked dates. Homes using external calendar feeds require manager confirmation.
- **In-Home Repeat-Guest QR Stand:** Converts first-time Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com guests into repeat direct bookers for next summer.
